While the novel isn't poorly written, I'm sad to say that I simply couldn't get into it. I'm so sorry to say that after 114 pages I've given up. Something that I really hate to do. Is it a bad book? No. It's a nice story. That unfortunately for me was the problem. I read so much that I need more than simply a time killing story. I need to feel invested in the characters and the story line, and I didn't get that from this book.
