Mostly glad and jumpy songs; the version of "Lullaby" on the Rockaby-baby series is preferable to the original one, whose words are rather creepy. I most liked tracks 6, 7(!), 8, 9, and 14 the most.
While almost every song on this compilation is great, I'm not sure it's for. The true fan will already have all of them, while the casual fan would do better to start with the "Staring at the Sea" collection. Still, it's hard to argue with a CD that includes "Just Like Heaven," "Inbetween Days" and "Friday I'm in Love."
I'm not a fan of new songs being included on greatest hits albums (the last 2 songs here were new) and there are other songs I would have liked to have seen included, but all in all, this is a pretty great, 1-disc introduction to The Cure.
Good indie rock. My favorite song is "Boys Don't Cry". However, I had a problem playing this on my DVD player at home. It worked fine on my portable DVD player, but the one at home simply refused to load the disc and I had to shut the power off in order to get the disc out of the DVD player.
