Loved that this book gently approaches the topic of urban sprawl and how that impacts wildlife to children. It also nicely addresses efforts on how to reconnect these displaced animals back to the wilderness.

I've seen one walking down my street in town at night, and paw prints in the snow right outside my back door the other morning. You don't see them very often, but foxes are here. This quietly profound new picture book follows one whose natural habitat has been replaced with strip malls and houses, but who makes his way to a wildlife refuge.
