The Noir-essence of the photography is wonderful, reminiscent of Kiss of Death, Northside 777, and my favorite Night in the City. The villainry is fun and quirky, especially the incidental characters like Prof. Strange's assistant, Ms. Peabody. I have only watched Season Two to date (will skip the first, I know what it's all about), but looking forward to a weekend binge on Season Three.

I like this tv show more than any Batman movie I like how they tell all the villains stories and how they become villains. I want to see season 3 and i hope that there will be lots of new seasons coming soon, with more Joker and maybe a bit of Harley Queen (not sure if i write it right) it will be nice.

I want to only LOVE this show and give it 5 stars, but I can't. It feels too over the top for me. For example: all that goes on at Arkham, and for a city where the GCPD believe everyone to be corrupt, they're COMPLETELY CLUELESS about it all? Stuff like that bugs me too much. The other thing that bugs me [SPOILER ALERT]: I hate Fish Mooney; can we just be done with her yet? That said, I love the show, I love the way they are developing Bruce, Gordon, Riddler and Penguin and how you see them starting out somewhat normal, but eventually what drives them a bit mad - they are doing a phenomenal job of story telling and integrating even some of the lesser known people from the Batman universe, as well as creating some new ones for the show. Overall, still really liking this show!

This season was highly entertaining, really dark and has some really surprising violent death scenes. which does make the series better then the first season.

Sadly season 3 which is 13 episodes in, is the some of the worst television Ive scene. The penguin is gay and in love with the riddler, whatttt. its so dumb and needs to get back with its season 2 flow and violent energy, not a gay love story triangle.

A bit intimidated by the 16 hours of programing but thoroughly enjoyed the battles between Gotham's heroes (young Bruce Wayne, Mr. Jeeves - Pennyworth, Gordon, Bullock, Barnes, Cat Woman...) and super villains (Dr. Hugo Strange, Galavan, Penguin, Riddler, Firefly, Mr. Freeze...) As in Season one, the dialogue was full of zingers in the spirit of crime noir comics. Kudos to the writers with the endless quips. Look forward to Season three and beyond.

Tons of gems already posted at wikiquote (including first and bits from third Seasons,) and no doubt many more personal favorites from the SubRip caption ( SRT) or script files :
