"Eve's Daughters" is a compelling story, a forerunner of the popular split time novels that weave stories of the past into a contemporary story. I loved the relationships between the generations, and the weaving of the stories over the the long time span from 1894 to 1980. The book is very well written and worth the time to read. I am putting this on the list for a book club I am considering starting in my neighborhood.

I couldn't put this book down. Absolutely wonderful read. My first introduction to Lynn Austin and if the rest of her books are this great--I am a fan!!

Captivating stories involving three generations of women ! Each had me completely immersed unable to put the book down. Love this new found author. Fire By Night is a 5 star read from the same author as well.

This is one of the best books I've ever read. The story of the generations of women that comes through from Germany to migration to the United States is amazing. Austin outdid herself with this one.
