Drew Evans makes multimillion-dollar business deals and seduces New York’s most beautiful women with just a smile. So why has he been shuttered in his apartment for seven days, miserable and depressed? He’ll tell you he has the flu, but we all know that’s not really true. When Katherine Brooks is hired as the new associate at Drew’s father’s investment banking firm, every aspect of the dashing playboy’s life is thrown into a tailspin. The professional competition she brings is unnerving, his attraction to her is distracting, his failure to entice her into his bed is exasperating. How can one woman turn a smooth-talking player into a broken, desperate man? By making the one thing he never wanted in life the only thing he can’t live without.

Delightful. Fun to have the entire book from the male viewpoint -- some of his explanations are hilarious, e.g. his definition of "closure". He takes it over the top to get her back but that's okay; I'm not expecting realism in my romance literature.

Tangled had its good points in the story but a lot of it wasn't really that interesting and I feel like it could have had more of a storyline. I also felt it dragged on for some pages.

I absolutely loved this book. It is so hilarious and very entertaining! What amazes me the most is that it was written by a woman! Hats off to Emma Chase who was able to capture a man's perspective with precision.

The writing was ok, nothing amazing-I didn't enjoy the way it was written like it was almost a play and he was the narrator conversing with us as the readers. It felt forced, as did a lot of the humor. Definitely not the LOL-fest that everyone seems to be saying about it. All of that said, overall it was still an enjoyable story line-I mean who doesn't love the rakish playboy turning into a puddle when he finally meets "the one"?

the first in a new "chick-lit" romance/sex series. a la a "shades of grey" kind of story. a bit lacking in character and story development. will read the second book to see if it holds up any better.

not a book for everyone, but I found funny and cannot wait for more books in the series.
