Dec 3 2015.....caribou, moose, dall sheep, Dick Proenneke, grizzly bears, mountains, lakes, rivers, what more could you ask for! I must say, while watching the rain, wind, and bugs (mosquitoes?) I felt privileged to be sitting in the comfort of four walls while watching all this beauty! I got a kick out of Dick's knees. I'll be sure to check out his book this winter, while waiting for the spring and the beginning of 'cabin life for me'. While I really enjoy the deer, elk, eagles, geese, ducks, various small birds, hawks, coyotes, foxes, chipmunks, ground squirrels, skunks (if I know they're there), and other wildlife around my cabin, the bears and cougars I can be satisfied with seeing on film!
