Fascinating documentary from PBS, which has a sterling record with this sort of thing. This looks at the history of Egyptian chariots from the classic era, while exploring the challenges of trying to create replicas that can stand up under the strains of what the chariots would have been used in ancient days. A compelling documentary.

Very well done and interesting documentary movie. A pleasure to watch. I would recommend this movie for all to see. No fast forwarding no falling asleep on this one. A++ DVD

Add a CommentInteresting enough material to keep watching, but this features the rather breathless narration style that I find annoying.
The usual PBS thoroughness,.. and an interesting subject.
Discovers technological insights through attempts at re-creations, and makes some speculative conclusions about how chariots were used in combat.
It was interesting, but kind of left me with a so what? The people involved were having a great time however, and that was worth watching.
