David Attenborough is just the best. Any age can watch and enjoy this film.

I cannot even imagine a better nature documentary: edifying, incredible images, and curiosity inducing. The first program is general and the subsequent ones on some form or other of reptiles - turtles, chameleons, lizards, and more. Their communication, mating and eating habits are mentioned as are idiosyncrasies of some species.

A very good documentary. Very Informative and it also has a matching book the same as the DVD! Both are good.

Absolutely incredible documentary. David Attenborough is extremely gentle and loving and genuinely fascinated by these creatures. It is not only very informative, but the shots and video are incredible and the narration is clever and captivating. Even the music and transitions added to the overall impact of the documentary (I definitely teared up at the end of the Shingleback Skink excerpt). Highly recommend; I just requested more of David's documentaries.

Produced through the BBC - Life In Cold Blood has got to be one of the most informative, well-photographed, and professionally presented wild-life documentaries that you are ever likely to see.

I had never realized how totally fascinating reptiles and amphibians were until I watched this first-rate program that was intelligently hosted and narrated by David Attenborough.

Travelling to various exotic locations around the world - Life In Cold Blood tells the curious viewer all about the hunting, the fighting, the feeding, the communicating and the mating that takes place amongst some of the most bizarre-looking creatures who inhabit this planet.

Believe me - Life In Cold Blood (which was expertly filmed from various locations around the world) is a first-rate nature-documentary that gives the inquisitive viewer a close-up look at some of the strangest and most unique creatures of all, reptiles and amphibians.

From hunting, to communicating, to feeding, to mating, and beyond - Life In Cold Blood certainly proved to me that these diverse, cold-blooded animals are not the simple & primitive creatures that they are so often mistaken to be.

Superbly photographed in vivid, living colour - Life In Cold Blood is a 2-disc set of five informative programs which, altogether, have a total running time of 4 hours.

Featuring some really superb visuals, along with plenty of informative narration - Life In Cold Blood takes the viewer on an amazing journey around the world in order to give one a much better understanding of the often-hostile domain that exists for reptiles and amphibians.

From some of the biggest and most ferocious monsters in the world (lizards and crocodiles), to some of the tiniest, most timid creatures imaginable (frogs and salamanders) - Life In Cold Blood is an entertaining, 4-hour, nature-excursion that is sure to educate one and all when it comes to gaining a full understanding of these often-misunderstood creatures.

If you are definitely interested in learning some really amazing facts about some of the most bizarre creatures on the face of this planet, then, this first-rate nature-documentary should hold your rapt attention from start to finish.

From hunting, to feeding, to communicating, to surviving and mating - The reptiles (lizards, crocodiles) and the amphibians (frogs, salamanders) featured here in this documentary are truly a diverse lot who must quickly adapt to their untamed environment where they sometimes find themselves being the predator, as well as the prey, both, at the same time.

Narrated and hosted by David Attenborough, Life In Cold Blood offers the curious viewer an excellent, close-up look at a world that they would, otherwise, not have a chance to see.
