If you like listening to the songs of American singer/songwriter, Neil Diamond, then you can't go wrong with this 2-disc set of 40 of his greatest hits of all time.

One of my fave Neil Diamond songs is "Solitary Man". I've included a video here of it for your added listening pleasure.

Add another 20 years and 20 more songs on this 40 song CD, and you have a very nice selection of Neil Diamond's career. Great music from a man that is turning 77 on January 24, 2018.
Hope he can manage his Parkinson's disease and resume his singing career, when he manages this manageable disease.

Originally from Brooklyn, New York - Neil Leslie Diamond (born January 24, 1941) is a gifted and prolific singer-songwriter, musician and actor. His career began in the 1960s and he has sold over 120 million records worldwide, making him one of the world's best-selling artists of all time.

Early in the 21st century, he was the third most successful adult contemporary artist in the history of the Billboard charts. His songs have been covered internationally by many performers from various musical genres.

A multiple music-award winner - Diamond was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1984 and into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2011.

This "Essential" 2-disc set contains 40 tracks in all which were recorded by Diamond (with accompanying musicians) in the years from 1966-2000. Three of my very favourite tunes are - Solitary Man - I am, I Said - Girl, You'll Be A Woman Soon.... (*Watch music-video*)
