The Women’s Adventure Film Tour (WAFT) is a celebration of the inspiring women around us who are doing extraordinary things in the name of adventure. Every year, a selection of unique films is carefully chosen by WAFT to show awesome women achieving their personally adventurous goals. Being adventurous doesn't always have to mean being the fastest, going the highest, or doing the most extreme things. Adventure for most of us is stepping outside our comfort zone and climbing our own personal Everest. The films showcase real stories about women from a variety of cultures and sports around the world.

First launched in 2017 to a sell-out crowd in Sydney, Australia, it has now successfully grown globally with screenings across Australia, New Zealand, the United States of America, Canada, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Italy, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, India and more. The first tour sourced films from the Mountainfilm Festival in Telluride, Colorado, however, as the tour developed, WAFT started curating their own content, working directly with filmmakers to create the film tour. Submissions are received from around the world that showcase and celebrate all types of women in adventure.
