Music Producing 101

4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Clark County Library

Description

Working on Mac's and focusing on various music producing software, you will learn how to be a music producer. Get hands on training with our Music Producer, Bradford Smith, as he shows you how to create layers in GarageBand and how to make beats and loops. We won't just stop at GarageBand! Once you get to know the software, we will transition to the next level of music editing by using Logic Pro.

The class is all about you and your love for creating music! If you already know GarageBand, that's ok! We can show you how to use Logic Pro, Ableton, or ProTools for your music editing. We can even show you how to market your music so you can sell your beats and/or songs.

Once you complete the training you will be able to use the Recording Studio on your own time!

Ages 12-17 only. 18 with proof of current and valid HS ID. Seating is very limited. Reservations are recommended but not required.
