External Online Event: The Future of Commercial Spaceflight

4:30 PM – 5:30 PM

Description

July 7 @ 4:30p

On May 30, a new era of spaceflight opened when two NASA astronauts launched aboard a SpaceX rocket for a mission to the International Space Station. It was the first launch of astronauts from U.S. soil in over a decade and the first time ever a private company launched humans into space. Join Phil McAlister from NASA Headquarters for an insider’s look at the partnerships between the space agency and private companies and what it means for future low-earth orbit and deep-space missions.
