In the late sixties and early seventies, an impromptu collection of musicians colonized a eucalyptus-scented canyon deep in the Hollywood Hills of Los Angeles and melded folk, rock and savvy American pop into a sound that conquered the world as thoroughly as the songs of the Beatles and the Rolling Stones. Fifty years later, the music made in Laurel Canyon continues to pour into today's’ music scene and culture. “Canyon of Dreams” will feature the music of such iconic musicians as Joni Mitchell, Jim Morrison, Carole King, the Beach Boys, Crosby Stills, Nash and Young, the Mamas and the Papas, Jackson Browne, the Eagles, Buffalo Springfield and many more.
So, put on your love beads, tie-dyed shirts “let your hair hang down” and join my music director, Jeff Neiman, myself and our brilliant band and enjoy of some of the best music ever written.
Free and open to the public. Seating is on a first come, first serve basis.
