Writers Workshop Series: Fundamentals of Fiction-- Dialogue, Subplots & Point-Of-View

Description

Fundamentals of Fiction: Dialogue, Subplots & Point-of-View    Come learn some of the essential elements of great fiction that will help your idea or work-in-progress grow into a page-turning, fully developed novel.  Bring a chapter of your work or a favorite book to our free workshop and discuss.

Amanda Skenandore is a historical fiction author and recent recipient of a Nevada Arts Council Literary Fellowship Honorable Mention award.  Her novel Between Earth and Sky was a 2018 Southern Lady Magazine book club pick and Historical Novels Review Editor's Choice.  Her second novel, The Undertaker's Assistant, comes out July 2019.

This activity is funded in part by an Artist Fellowship award from the Nevada Arts Council, a state agency.  Free admission & open to the public.  First time authors and those seeking publication are especially encouraged to attend.  For more information, please call 702-507-3458.
